Dog crates are used in a wide range of situations and purposes. They may be in a vehicle, utility room or dog groomers. In most cases, head room is restricted and dogs are generally not in a crate for extended periods.
Our mats for dog crates are offered in five standard sizes and bespoke. The standard size of cushion is 5 cm of high density upholstery foam with a choice of fabrics – fine grade, tough canvas or stretch PU, both are waterproof.
The Elements fabric is a tough, but lightweight canvas with a fine finish. It is waterproof, antibacterial, UV resistant and machine washable. It comes in three colours.
The stretch PU is the fabric we use for many of our veterinary products and is waterproof and antibacterial. The seams are welded, not sewn so are ideal for particularly wet situations such as dog groomers or hydrotherapy locations where dogs are crated for short periods. Crate mats with the PU covers are cleaned by wiping or hosing. When you are running a busy dog grooming business you want to spend your time on your clients, not on keeping the salon clean. Our crate mats will save you time and money.
Surprisingly, dog crates vary greatly in their dimensions between manufacturers. Our standard sizes will not fit every make of crate. Please carefully measure the interior of your dog's crate before deciding on a size. Where there is a tray in the crate, it is the interior of the tray that should be measured.
