BDBCo.VET is very pleased to be working with Swedish company, Scandi Orthopedic to bring their excellent range of orthotic equipment to the UK.
Scandi Orthopedic (SO) design and manufacture a huge selection of orthotic supports, which range from basic, temporary supports to highly customised and sophisticated structures to deal with the most complex of cases. Their equipment can be used to treat an injury or condition conservatively, without surgical intervention or post-operatively. They are appropriate for animals that have permanent disabilities or temporary orthopaedic problems. The equipment is designed mainly for dogs and cats, but SO will also custom-make products for other animals.
Scandi Orthopedic work in close co-operation with one of Sweden’s largest veterinary hospitals, the Blue Star Animal Hospital in Gothenburg, both to develop equipment and create customised orthotics for particular cases. This facilitates their ability to collaborate with veterinary clinics to design bespoke orthotics for specific conditions.
