Foal and small farm animal positioning aids

These positioning aids can be used in conjunction with the mattress kits or IVEST table but are also suitable for independent use in the field. They are suitable for smaller farm animals and are easier to deploy accurately than straw bales, while also maintaining good access to the patient. They pack down small and are easily carried into the field where they can be inflated using a manual pump.

Two styles are offered:

• The positioning sling with a fixed width of around 35cm when fully inflated, but larger as the inflation level is reduced. The bolsters 150 cm long and have a contact surface of around 130 cm. Maximum height fully inflated is 18 cm. 
• The positioning bolsters with adjustable webbing straps allowing the slot created to be adjusted to smaller patients or to create an asymmetrical shape. Maximum width is approximately 50cm, but longer straps can be fitted if requested. The bolster length is 150cm and maximum diameter is 18cm fully inflated.
