These beds are:
- Extremely waterproof
- Hard wearing & easy clean
- Available in standard and bespoke sizes
These hard wearing, 100% waterproof, easy clean beds are ideal when your dog is at its muddiest. The covers are easily cleaned by brushing, with a cloth or using a hose. They are also removable for machine washing. The hard wearing canvas fabric is designed for outdoor use and is highly UV resistant. Whether you travel long distances with your dogs, or just go to the local park, these are fit and forget items requiring only occasional washing.
Does your car smell a bit doggie? Solve the problem with these beds. Great for dog day care businesses and those travelling to agility, flyball or gun dog trial competitions, or just for everyday use.
We have had these fabrics under test with gun dog professionals for over a year and they have received a resounding thumbs up. Lammermuir Gundogs had beds in kennels and vehicles and have given us this feedback:
"I really like (these canvas covers) and they have stood up really well to the wear and tear of kennel life as has the one in my vehicle, they wash well and have no colour fade so (they) are first class...bomb proof".
Great for use in outdoor kennels where the dog may be going in and out to a muddy run.
Cushions comprise a 5 cm (2 in) high density foam topped with 2.5 cm (1 inch) of good quality memory foam to give a total of 7.5 cm, or 7.5 cm of high density foam topped with 2.5 cm of memory foam to give a total of 10 cm. In cars, the 7.5 cm is generally sufficient. If this is your dog's everyday bed you should select the 10 cm thick option.
You can also opt for an Active Recovery® pressure relief cushion if your dog lives with arthritis or other joint issues. Full details of this cushion style can be found on the Orthopaedic Beds page.
If you would like something thinner, take a look at our Beds for Dog Crates which are 5 cm (2 inch) thick high density foam.
For an older dog with arthritis or other joint issues, or one which will be working on a frequent basis, you should opt for the Active Recovery® pressure relief foam which is 10 cm thick.
Beds come in four standard sizes. Bespoke sizes can be made to fit vehicles or kennels. If you require a bespoke size, please read the page about bespoke dog beds and complete the specification form.
Made to Order
All our beds are made to order. This is how we are able to offer such a large number of sizes and colours.
We aim to dispatch your bed within 14 days of order, and usually manage to do it sooner. If the colour of fabric is not available in that timeframe, we will alert you to the delay and you can opt to change the colour you have selected.
Bespoke beds will generally take four weeks. This is because we have to order the bespoke size of foam which can take some time to arrive.
We charge for shipping. There is no such thing as free shipping - it is either declared openly as we do, or its cost is hidden in the price you are paying for the item you are buying. The price of shipping depends on the size of the item ordered. Typically a bed shipped within mainland UK will cost £15-18. We use FedEx as they are reliable and are willing to handle our bulky products.
For small items under 2kgs we use Royal Mail next day tracked service. Unfortunately, this is not guaranteed to be a next day delivery. Orders placed before 12 noon will go out the same day.
